This product is heat treated in processing; however, it should always be cooked before serving. To cook from frozen: grill for 5 to 6 minutes or microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. To cook after thawing: grill for 2 to 3 minutes or microwave for 1 minute. Mussels on the half shell make an ideal snack, entrée or main meal simply by adding toppings of your choice or cooking to a recipe.
